The spikes look great BUT it was difficult to remove and to install. The installation tool is quite small and does not provide enough torque/pressure. It took a few tries with a few cleats to get them to fit securely and fit into the soles of my shoes. Even then I dropped five spikes in my first round of just nine holes. This is my first stud replacement on these shoes (Footjoy's). Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I don't think so.

I bought these to replace the soft cleats on my Nike golf shoes. Their design is better than the original supplied by Nike, although the installation uses the same locking system. I will tell you that an installation tool is necessary - at first I tried removing my old spikes and installing new ones with a tool I already had and thought it would work better and it didn't work properly. spikes are thorns. These are very good spikes, they work great, but the beauty of this set is in the instrument itself! I can't tell you how many different tools I've used over the years to remove old spikes, I've got them all and none. really great job done. This tool, on the other hand, got them all out quickly and easily, all of them.
