Good workmanship True to size

Other reviewers noted sizing issues, the product I received was 2" and fitted snugly in the hole made by a 2" hole saw was generated. I installed them for a customer in a bypass closet door and had no trouble installing them.

Pros
  • May require a set of hammer and nails to install
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Size matters! for door hardware and locks

I have replaced 8 old brass doorknobs in my closets. If you have old doors, check the size of the opening. The standard is now 2-1/8 inches. These were the only moves I could find for 2 inches. Good quality that goes well with satin nickel door handles.

nice but confusing description

Got these to be painted oiled bronze. They were too small for cutouts, there were no curved ridges to hold them. I added narrow strips of tape along the inside edge to hold it in place. They look good but are not the industry standard 2 inch, they are slightly smaller (@1/32 inch) but the flared edges easily cover the door cutouts. They look great, just remember the cutouts need to be 2 inches tight.

Pros
  • Stamped steel construction with a satin nickel finish
Cons
  • Good but not great

Different orders result in different items!

I needed 24 of these for some closets. I just ordered a few. They were great - perfect for my needs. I have ordered more. They were a completely different size and weren't the same as the first one I ordered. I contacted the company and they told me there was a manufacturing defect. They suggested that I keep ordering and returning until the problem is resolved. I'm not joking! Needless to say, I have chosen a different product. Avoid!

Pros
  • Used on 3/4" to 1-3/4" double doors
Cons
  • Something else
