Description of Prime Line 9073375 Finished Stainless 50 Pack

Size: 5/16 inch-18. Most commonly used and versatile nut. Finished nuts are six sided nuts of standard thickness vs heavy duty hex nuts. Screws onto a bolt, cap screw or threaded rod of the same thread size. Use with washers to help distribute the load (not included).

Weak threads on nuts

The threads in these nuts were stripped the first time they were removed. Ruined some expensive stainless steel screws trying to unscrew them. They stuck to the bolt and had to be cut off with a grinder. I suspect cheap Chinese stainless steel.
