Description of Prime Line 9075446 Insert Stainless 5 Pack

Size: 1/2 inch-13. Features an internal nylon ring that grips bolt threads better than a standard finished nut. Great for use in applications where the bolt may be subject to vibration. Can also be used as a secondary nut to help lock the main nut in place. The side with the nylon insert should face towards the tip of the bolt, not towards the surface being fastened.

Disappointing Quality

I was hoping for better results from these screws... Unfortunately, they stripped easily and didn't provide a secure hold. the only positive aspect was that they were easy to find on the shelf. Overall a letdown and not worth the expense..

Excellent Value - Jam Nuts

Excellent value. Appears to be of good quality. A bit thick for my use, but the beauty of SS is that you can sand it down a bit to make it thinner without worrying about rusting.
