Excellent line

I used this line to restretch an old 10ft truss. Lined curtains on this rod are heavy, but this cord has very little stretch during operation. The thickness of the cable seems suitable. Opening and closing curtains requires less effort than old cords. I am very pleased with the performance of this cable.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • old

Outdoor Tie Strap

I was looking for something with a larger diameter, weatherproof strap to attach my outdoor bamboo mounts. For that it works great. It seems to run smoother than the original cable. Due to the larger diameter, it does not get caught in the deflection rollers on the curtain. I did 5 blinds and I doubt I used 10% reel.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than others

Correct Thickness

The first time I repaired our truss I used a thinner line thinking it wouldn't matter as Nylon is nearly indestructible. I was wrong, it took a little over a year to fray and break. So this time I ordered this thicker cable. Haven't had it in over a year but it feels a lot tighter as you open and close the curtains. I found it fit the pulleys better making it less likely to bind and break.

Pros
  • Good Value
Cons
  • Thin
