I have static electricity dropping from the ceiling in my garage. My wife and I got used to the device straight away and now we park perfectly every time. An easy to install and inexpensive solution to a constant source of stress when we have our cars parked in the garage. No more problems with slamming passenger doors or garage doors. I was thinking of making a DIY project on an old tennis ball, but then I remembered what a mess it was to punch holes in those balls. This is a colorful…

Pros
  • SECURE PARKING IN THE GARAGE. This stop right ball is designed to touch the car windshield when parked in your garage, allowing you to stop safely with enough space.
Cons
  • Slightly dented

Nice little kit - parking aid

Took it in place of Star Wars lasers. It seems silly to buy something that you could make yourself, but right now I don't have a tennis ball, three little eyes and a thin string that are in my garage. I wanted the ball to retract to the side and attach to the sectional garage door, but the instructions say a very high ceiling is required. However, there is a workaround that worked for me. Simply tie a small washer on the side of the garage door to the first eye coming out of the car to restrict

Pros
  • EASY INSTALLATION - Installation is quick and easy, all parts included.
Cons
  • Hard to say

Easy parking assistant

I have limited depth perception so I would always tow the car and either get too close to the cabinets at the end of my garage for me to open them or I wasn't far enough away and got it not done. No place to easily walk past a car with the garage door closed. This is a simple solution. And it's pretty simple - a soft foam ball on a string. The rope is long enough to attach to the back of the garage door so that when the door is lowered the ball is lifted and cleared out of the way…

Pros
  • RETRACTABLE. This garage ball can be attached to a garage door to keep the ball out of the way when the door is closed.
Cons
  • So far so good

You could use a tennis ball, but .

Works as advertised but most applications don't need to worry about connecting to a garage door. Included are small grommets and a rope long enough to tie to the garage door, allowing the ball to be lifted up and out of the way when the door is closed. When the door opens, the ball falls inside. The kit does NOT include eyelet anchors. So if you're installing it to drywall (garage ready) you'll need your own plastic anchors. The ball is soft, so don't worry about scratching the car, and it is…

Pros
  • HIGH VISIBILITY - The bright yellow color of the styrofoam ball provides high visibility so it's easy to see even when entering the garage.
Cons
  • Doubtful
