I use this when changing the water coolant. This works quite well, but large accumulations require the system to shut down

I'm not sure how important it is, but if you're spending a lot of money on a good cooling system. Why take the risk? I have more peace of mind now knowing I have used this to prime and clean my system.

A month for a rebuild and it seems to have worked. The radiators were cleaned separately prior to building the circuit and used on full circuit for 12-16 hours before rinsing with distilled water and replacing with the liquid I am using now. My loop uses Corsair Hydro X Series XL5 Performance Coolant with blue dye. Will be updated again in a few months or a year as far as I remember, but I think it will still be clean.

My hoses have not become stiffer. I've used Mayhems with no lye tubes. Not sure about other reviews but ok. I ran 16 hours. Drained and filled with coolant, no problem. I didn't wash it off because I was tired and read there was no need to wash it off. it was cleaned because there were some particles in it. I washed it 5 times with warm distillation and found more of this junk.
