For reasons completely beyond me, the manufacturer decided to go against the grain and glue the flaps to the inside of the envelope. All other brands are glued on the outside. The main disadvantage is that CDs are more difficult to insert into envelopes: they tend to get caught between poorly glued flaps and the back of the envelope.
