Great kite - easy to assemble and disassemble. It's easy to fly. Looks great in the sky. This is my first Prism kite and I am happy with it.

I also bought a separate 500ft kite line as I wanted to see how high this kite could fly. Today was a beautiful spring day with 15 mph winds and this kite flew and took the full 500 feet of kite line. He kept pulling and wanted higher, but I was out of kite line. I am about to order a 1000ft kit and can't wait to get this kite back.

Very impressed with the quality and durability. I also really like the line and reel. The line is strong and doesn't kink, and I love how easy it is to detach the line with the round spool. You just hold it lightly so it spins in your hand and the kite pulls itself out. A bit heavy to feel but still better than those cheap curlers.

I'm new to kite flying so do what you want. The prism flies well enough, I'm just not thrilled with the material it's made of. Any moment it seems that a strong wind or even folding it up to put it away will tear it to shreds. It hasn't happened yet, so maybe it's more durable than I think. At first I liked the ring-shaped coil, but there's no place to tie it down like there are with more traditional coils. You have to hold on to it the whole time, otherwise the line will keep paying.

I have never used a round spool for stringing and it is very easy to unwind and wind the string, especially for small hands.
