Professional Quality Markers for Creatives

This is a fantastic set of professional quality markers for anyone who loves drawing, sketching or being creative. There are seventy-two marks in this box. The markers are reversible: one has a thick chiseled edge and the other has a very thin point. These two options allow you to quickly fill in color and create fine detail. The ink lays down evenly and smoothly with great color saturation. As I couldn't find a suitable storage box for it, I reinforced the box it came in with masking tape and…

A pair of defective markers in such an expensive set?

My daughter needed alcohol markers and this set of 72 was sold at the best price per marker. She loves them and makes beautiful designs with them, so I believe her when she tells me it's a good product. The colors are as advertised, they are quite bright and match well. However, they are expensive (in my opinion), and that price is compounded when defective markers are included in the kit. Thankfully there aren't any leaking or dried out markers, but we've had a few with damaged nibs…

Great markers! Uneven color distribution.

I received these markers on Saturday and checked them all one by one, as soon as I received them none were dry! These markers work great and leave vibrant colors behind. I haven't tried blending as my job doesn't require much, so I can't comment on that. However, there is only one thing that disappointed me a little bit about this product. amount of each color. Need more of the most commonly used colors! The distribution is very, very uneven. I had about 12 blues, 6 oranges, 9 yellows and 3…

Preferably. markings. Is always.

I've been using Prismacolor markers for a long time. I bought my first set on the advice of a famous artist friend of mine. I still have this set but I had to replace the markers in the jumpsuit as the others had run out. He's a little over 10 years old. One thing I appreciate about this set is that the thin end of the tip is not the same as the 0.5mm in my first set. While theoretically a 0.5 tip is practical, it always ends up not getting enough ink. This makes them suitable for most…

Cons
  • Out of fashion

I'm not a professional artist, but I've been painting all my life. So far I've almost always colored with crayons and only once or twice with cheaper markers. After buying another brand of markers because they were on sale and enjoying the process but not the markers themselves, I decided to see what else was out there. I've been using Prismacolor colored pencils for a few years now and love them for the quality so I thought this set would be a good choice. Well, let me just say I'm addicted to

Cheap on lightning deal

I bought it on lightning deal over a year ago. It's finally time for a review. I have over 100 copies and bought a prism to supplement my copies. Sometimes when I need to paint a large area I prefer prisms just because they are a bit cheaper to use. They're very similar to Copics, so if you want a cheaper replacement I'd recommend buying one if it's available. However, it seems that recently the price for them has become much higher, almost as much as for the kopiks. I still recommend kopiks…
