Prismacolor Scholar Colored Sharpener 1774266 2 Review

I bought two packs, one is great and we love it for sharpening our crayons. Another pack broke the tips every time we tried to sharpen our pencils and was thrown in the bin. Garbage. It was definitely the sharpener itself and not user or pen error because four of us tried the same sharpener with multiple pens. All in all I can only give 3 stars because there is a quality control issue here! But we are very happy with what really works!

This is the only sharpener that fits my Prisma pencils. I've tried two other sharpeners that work well with my other soft core pencils, but not well with Prisma pencils. Finally they have a good point and the lead doesn't collapse anymore. I'm so glad I bought this! I bought this pencil sharpener after reading the reviews. The sharpener is about 2.5-3 inches tall and has a kidney-shaped tip. Colored pencil sharpening seems to work, but I don't know if I'm just holding the sharpener. or Pens are not centered, but one side seems to sharpen more than the other. I let my kids use it to sharpen crayons and they had trouble with the tip bouncing off when sharpening. So I had to put tape from top to bottom as they kept dropping the case and shavings ended up…
