I am very satisfied with the Phono Box RS. I use it with my Thorens TD145 MkII with Clearaudio Performer V2 Ebony MM cartridge. Sounds good! Highest recommendation.

Was happy with the product, only used it occasionally and was disappointed when it broke just after the 2 year warranty expired. I contacted support and was told it could cost more than $500 to repair which is half the price of a new one.

I built a turntable and used a solid wire tonearm terminated with balanced connectors. The XLR inputs were a must for me. I bought this phono as an intermediate until I could build it. Wow this phono stage is amazing. I have a double vintage 1229 turntable and was playing it through my Cambridge Audio 651p playing a Yamaha 675 receiver and then some Klipsche Forte speakers with an HSU subwoofer. I actually bought a silver block and it is a very good phono preamp. I have used it with a fully modded KAB Technics 1200 MK 2 with a Denon 301 mk2 and recently a Vpi Classic with a SounsSmith Zephyr MM cartridge via the built in Primaluna Dialogue HP hose. Very happy with both combos. The preamp isn't very bright. It seems to be doing a wonderful job with a very full sound.
