Enhance Visibility: Rampage Products 8605 Black Towing Mirror Extensions for 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler - Pair Review

I use these on my JKU when towing our folding camper. It works great and really expands my field of vision. I towed the pop-up for about 150 miles without them, struggling to change lanes and get onto the freeway. These mirrors solved that problem with ease! And they may look thin, but they are very safe. I even rode it in a downpour, no problem!

The tow mirror isn't as big as on my truck, but it improves rear visibility when towing. I don't like the fact that they're both bulbous, but I can keep a good eye on my trailer tires and the lane next to me. Installation/removal couldn't be easier and in my experience they are very stable and don't wobble at all in the wind on the freeway.

Very happy with it. They allow me to see the cars behind the trailer much closer than with regular Jeep mirrors. They are easy to assemble and strong in the wind. Driven 5000 km with it, no problems. My only criticism is that the mirror moves too easily even in the outer shell, so you can trip on rough roads or if someone slams the door too hard. The rest of the work is very good.

what i liked was that as soon as it arrived i opened the box and started modifying it. They were as advertised and perfect for the job described. I needed something to add to my 2019 Chevy's mirrors. to see what was behind me and my 28ft trailer. The mirrors are slightly convex, but this is normal. If you buy for the intended use I am sure you will be happy. I drilled holes in them to make them work!

I have a Jeep JKU Rubicon and am towing a small R-POD camper, so the mirrors weren't essential, but the extra range of vision is nice, especially since they're so easy to put on operate are install and delete. Literally 1 minute on each side. No road vibrations and they look like they were designed by Jeep. In addition, the mirrored lens can be adjusted up and down and side to side for a perfect view. Perfect fit and very cheap.

Great Towing Mirrors for Jeep. Velcro straps to keep it in place. The feel and look are the same as the Jeep mirrors (but smaller, of course). Do not lean out of the jeep, which makes it difficult to move on and off road. Got this for a jeep trailer and it works very well. The trailer is very small and not as wide as the Jeep, making it invisible in all three mirrors. Only now I see it like seeing a dirty hole on the side of the road. The only complaint would be that it's a different plastic…

When my FJ Cruiser is towed, there is nothing to see. I didn't like the look of various nasty universal towing mirrors. Read more about Rage Mirrors on the FJ forums. Speaks for Jeep, but also perfect for FJ. The body has a molded hook that grips the edge of the mirror and the strap has a hook that grips the opposite side. Tighten the strap and secure with Velcro. Very sure. Minimal judder at highway speeds. The mirror itself is also adjustable. I wish I had found this three years ago!

These mirror extensions are an engineering genius: they fit great, are easy to fit and appear strong and of high quality. BUT they are too small to be useful. I am trying to tow an 8ft wide camper with a JK Wrangler that is 6ft wide. I need a 12" extension for my OEM mirror on each side, this only extends the 4" extension. I wish the manufacturer would make a larger version soon, I'll be the first to buy it. Unfortunately these are back. UPDATE: tested on my street. These mirrors roughly double
