I paid $100 at the store for my old hair straightener but recently dropped it and broke it. To save myself a trip, I decided to book this one. Looks better in photos. It's plastic and thin blades. It works and is easy to use, but it's very cheap quality.

This is actually my second PYT iron, my first was almost 10 years old and worked fantastic. I used it almost every day. It was durable and survived multiple falls and accidents. This product literally did nothing for my hair. I was happy because I read a lot of good reviews that this product is as good as in the mall or online. So I fell for it and bought it. I was very happy to receive the package but when I tried literally nothing worked. My hair didn't stay straight. The curls just weren't there. DO NOT BUY THIS. THIS IS FAKE AND PITY. This is my third PYT. My granddaughter broke my first one about 5 years ago and I bought another one the next day. The second one broke about a month ago and the same day I bought another one. I love the weight and size of the PYT and how well it performs. I am African American and my hair is neither straight nor curly. I only do one pass with this and my hair is STRAIGHT! There is no need to keep coming back to this.
