They worked brilliantly on deck 4 on our cruise ship Symphony of the Seas.

The only time they didn't work was . . . Well I guess never. We were on the Symphony and we were always able to communicate with the kids no matter where they were on the ship. Pleasantly surprised. Used 2 sets of regular (non-rechargeable) batteries in a week. Arrived with fresh normal batteries, took another set for the walkie talkie AND 2 sets of batteries. returned home with the 2nd set of batteries which barely worked. Excellent purchase. Buy it!

helps a lot, the only downside is voice activation, when mom is 81 years old in the 6th year of chemistry, it may be difficult to project her voice. We tried setting the sensitivity to 2, which didn't work very well, although I was fine with that. However, she can easily activate the bell button to alert my father when he is downstairs in the kitchen. It was difficult for her to press the link button in her weakened state, but she can do it, although it only exhausts her efforts. However, it…

I bought this unit to add to the other walkie talkies we have in our office. First let me say that the battery on this walkie talkie is amazing! I bought high capacity rechargeable batteries and they can last 3-4 days without recharging. I like that you can charge it via micro USB. I have several more expensive walkie talkies that require a proprietary charger and hate having to go to a warehouse to charge them. With this walkie talkie, I can easily charge it on my desktop. I bought these walkie talkies to use with my kids when they play outside at a neighbor's house or when they go for a .5 mile walk in the park. They were fine, 6 houses from neighbors, but rarely worked in the park. Too many obstacles in between. You are not easy to change attitudes. Volume control and channel switching is not easy. Multiple button presses are required to access various settings. Changing channels and volume should be easy. The biggest problem was that they turned themselves…
