Was looking for a new ice cream spoon to replace my old one from Pampered Chef. I chose this Balci shovel because it was made of stainless steel and had a red handle. He's a lot heavier than I thought. So I think that will make it permanent. I love stainless steel. The only downside for me is that the red pin is closer to orange than I'd like. That being said, color wasn't an absolute deal breaker, and my husband and son love having this new "power tool" to scoop up their sweet treats!

As a teenager, I worked at a small ice cream parlor called High's Ice Cream. Very popular in Tidewater, Virginia in the 70's. When I opened the box I was so excited that I took a picture of it and posted it on Facebook. It felt and looked the same as the ones we used in this store. Much nicer grip than the ones we used but if you dip in water a little this thing pulls very hard ice out of the freezer. Make ice cream like a pro. I intend to give these things away.
