Works very well

I'm glad I invested in this little tool, I've used it against several different cylinder head springs and it's interesting, the closed valve spring to see as well as valve opening/full stroke rate of old and new springs. I would buy this again

Pros
  • Package dimensions: 2.794H x 28.194D x 12.446W (centimeters)
Cons
  • No instructions

Ok it takes the best tools and equipment

Good for the price. Not something I would buy from a mechanical shop for everyday use, but fine for my use and level of precision. If I need more precision, I take my springs to a mechanical shop. I recommend this product for such an environment.

Pros
  • Package Weight: 1.05 lbs
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Great for the home player

I tested this with my own weight and a set of new springs. It seems to be between 100 and 200 pounds within 5 pounds. I clamped it in a vise on my grinder and used an old jack with a 3/4" collet to push the spring down. The QI scale on the spring and stopper makes the whole setup as good as a professional spring tester .

Pros
  • Mount Type: Vehicle specific
Cons
  • Almost never
