We bought these as we thought they were good value for money. It took us several months to find time to install them and we found that some of the slides didn't work right out of the box. We had 40 slides in total and 4 didn't work, but that's not a big issue as we had more due to the case size. I bought these drawer slides to upgrade the standard drawer slides in our kitchen. What a disappointment. They say they close smoothly, but you have to push the drawer to the point where the closing mechanism engages - the self-closing mechanism doesn't activate as expected. I ordered a set of 10 pairs. They look good, are durable and work well. Some other reviewers complained that the items didn't "hook" properly, so they ended up using them as regular sliders without the soft-close feature. This has happened to me too, but upon closer inspection it was because the side walls of my box weren't exactly parallel, so as the box went deeper there was more "play" from side to side. I bought 10 pieces in September 2017. I only needed nine, so I had a spare. Sometime in December 2019, the first sentence broke. I used a spare kit I had. Then the second set failed in May 2020 and now the third set failed in August 2020! Since I only installed 9 sets initially, I had a 33% chance of failure in less than three years! This is my second order of Promark self-closing full extension slides. So far all 20 sets have worked perfectly. For my latest project I needed 11 drawer slides.
