Needed lightweight bags, no zip closures for fresh produce. They are large, large enough for leafy greens - e.g. Beets with leafy greens, carrots, lettuce, cabbage and also carry loads of pears, apples, tomatoes, etc. Twist the tie and you're done. I looked for this size in several grocery stores (1 gallon size is too small) but had to order online. Very happy with these bags!

This is a great size when the readily available 1 gallon just won't fit.
