Propét Villager Oxford Walking X Wide: Superior Comfort for Walking Enthusiasts Review

I've ONLY worn these shoes for the past few decades. Yes, they changed the sole and even the insert, which seems less comfortable. But overall I'm still very satisfied. And the shoes last a long time, and mine take a lot of abuse.

There have always been problems finding shoes that are wide enough. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they fit right out of the box. My wife wants me to buy another pair because I really like them. I'm so happy!

They won't win a style contest, but they make great walking shoes. I think they might be my absolute favorites. Lightweight, plenty of room in the toe box, not too heavy. I've read that others have had problems with sole tears, I haven't experienced it yet, but I haven't experienced it yet. They have the extra depth for the orthotics that I need. High recommendation.

Propet made the shoe, although it's a bit big, it fits my toes very well. The sock is really enough. I just wish the heel wasn't so messy. The shoe has a great finish and my fingers are SO HAPPY. The Villagers have a blunter toe box than most 14 EEEE (4E) shoes I've tried. Red Wing work shoes, New Balance sneakers, and Thorogood work shoes that I tried on proved more valuable than the Propet Villagers. EEEEE(4E). So I had to return them so be aware that not all Propet shoes are the same size.

I have some problems with pain in my legs. These shoes are far more comfortable and supportive than most others I've worn. However, they make loud creaking noises when walking. It's loud enough to be annoying at times, especially in the office. I keep wearing them because my feet feel better in them. Without scratches I would give 4 or 5 stars.

Very comfortable shoes, I would give 5 stars except for the insoles but having put in a good pair of insoles myself they are now five stars for comfort. Shoes for wear resistance are still open. I've had it for 2 months, let's see how long it lasts. The upper still looks like new and the sole will hopefully last at least a year.

I've been wearing them for years. I bought these after getting the Good Feet insoles and they have always been my shoe of choice. The price was great especially with the discount they added at checkout. Came back and bought a pair of brown ones too.

I have these shoes in black and they are great - thought I could go down a size but I was wrong. I am sending them back half a size larger.

I got this for my father. We ended up ordering the wrong size but the shoes fit as advertised. Good durable quality. I will order a new pair.

I usually like these shoes and have ordered them before but this pair did not arrive in their original packaging and upon inspection found that they had markings on them indicating it had been previously used.

I had to send the shoes back as they were too small. The seller replaced them with a larger size. The new shoes were a little big, but my foot doesn't fit a standard size. The seller was top notch and made sure I got something to wear.

I have purchased this shoe twice and both times it has been a great purchase. The shoes wore very well and held up well. This time is a different story. They've replaced smooth leather with grained leather, which doesn't really matter much as the shoe still looks great. I have one problem. I've only been wearing them for about a month and my heels are already showing signs of tilting. I know it's because of the way I walk, but it usually takes me a lot longer to wear them. My 95 year old's feet were so swollen that his pediatrician required him to wear boot-like shoes to reduce chafing toes. My local shoe store had some of these on sale and we bought them...they were so good we found them online and ordered another pair! Outstanding quality and fit... more doctors need to tell their patients about this!

I got a pair and after a few weeks the right shoe started to squeak loudly with every step. I sent an email about the problem and never got a response from them. Disappointed with shoes and customer care.

I've tried them to relieve knee discomfort on days when I'm on my feet at trade shows or other situations where I know I'll have to walk long distances to work. Great all day comfort.

I love the fit and support. I use a standing desk and walk around a bit during the day. These shoes keep my feet comfortable all day long.

I got a good deal on shoes and I'm happy at the moment. It fits my foot which is a miracle. I bought 9.5 5E. The shoe slips on the heel but probably because I had to go up half a size due to my wide right foot.

Like most wide shoes [5e] and of course most Propet 5e in the back and more like a 4e in the toe box. The leather is a little lighter than I expected, but the overall construction feels solid. Not athletic shoes and not the most durable walker I've had, but they're fine for everyday use.

I have a narrow foot (12 A/B) so I ordered 12 Narrow (B). They are more like the standard D width; too loose to be worn comfortably and due to their stiffness, they slip off with every step.
