Too hard? Not sure. Seems OK to me.

My daughter who is a X-fit athlete says the mat is too hard. As for me, I had no reference, I find the mat to be OK. Use it daily (or rather nightly) to do 100 sit-ups before going to bed!

Pros
  • Good size, easy to handle, easy to move, comfortable, good quality in material.Great item.
Cons
  • Mat is too short to provide full coverage during exercises

Recommend Adding this item to your gym

Purchased this with 20lb ball and glad I did. I think it helps support lower back for safer exercise routine. That's my feedback!

Pros
  • I like the butt pad but the actual abmat is very hard
Cons
  • Not non-slip

Comfortable: my feedback

I am 260 pounds. This gives me a little comfort with pressure point. I recommend this for anyone who needs a little push for crunches. It really gives u little ump. More energy more comfort. You can also do stretching and palate. Over all a trendy item.

Pros
  • Good quality.
Cons
  • Foam is too firm, causing discomfort during extended use

great for the tailbone and knees

It saves the tailbone from bruising, and the thick part is excellent support for kneeling exercises on weak knees. Feels firmer than other mats but it feels like it will last longer. I think it could be a little wider.

Pros
  • Very hard but I like it. No issues with Situps when using it
Cons
  • Wedge pad is difficult to clean due to its shape

Great back support: my feedback

I was trying to do sit ups on tile floor and was experiencing a lot of pain in my back and tailbone. I got this and it really helps. Still occasionally feel a little pain but this is really helpful

Pros
  • Shipped quickly. It is perfect for what I need. Very comfortable to use and a great price.
Cons
  • Takes up too much space in a gym bag

Overall Great! good for me

Great product overall but it’s very stiff! I understand you want it to be firm but it’s to firm that it hurts my back. Material is not breathable, causing excess sweating during use.

Pros
  • This is perfect for ab workouts. Durable, very well made!!!!
Cons
  • Material is not breathable, causing excess sweating during use

Won’t save your crack.

Mat is much firmer than any other I have used. The tailbone protecting pad is attached on the thinner edge of the mat, so this won’t help prevent crack burn for most Crossfitters.

Pros
  • Great support
Cons
  • Not suitable for people with hip or pelvic pain

This is not a general purpose mat

I purchased this under the impression that it was a general purpose exercise mat that provided tailbone protection. It's not. It's intended expressly for situps. I returned it.

Pros
  • PORTABLE & COLLAPSIBLE: Yes4All Ab Mat with tailbone is lightweight and easy to carry so you can take it anywhere with a flat ground like at home, in the gym, garage or office to work out and get your shape back in record time
Cons
  • Mat and wedge pad are not machine washable

Great price but not as comfortable as premium mats.

This is a value purchase and I recommend it. The price point was too good to pass up for me. I've used a more expensive ab mat and can tell you it's more comfortable than this one. The Yes4All mat pushes up more on my back. It appears to be a little too tall. Besides comfort, it adds a little strain to the sit up.The Yes4All isn't as good as a premium ab mat but still worth the purchase. Personally, I just can't spend a lot of money on an ab mat so I'm happy with this one. It is effective but…

Pros
  • This thing is great, ill use it when lying on the floor not even working out.
Cons
  • Mat and wedge pad often slip apart during use

Firm and durable in my review

Just laying on this thing sometimes makes you lower back feels so good You don't even want to do the sit up or leg raise. It's a good buy

Pros
  • Was worried it would be fluffy and over time wear out but no such thing
Cons
  • Not long enough. I’m 5’7,… but still. WTH
