This webcam privacy cover is just a very thin neo magnet and a very thin steel frame. There is really very little to it. But it is well made, very thin and tiny. I have a Macbook Pro. It doesn't effect closing the lid at all. I have one on my cell phone front camera. I don't feel it with my ear and it takes up hardly any space on the cell phone LCD. I have enjoyed the safety in these camera covers. They did not fit an iPhone camera, but they did fit well on various tablets/laptops. Please note that these covers are only meant to be stuck onto a surface once, they are not repositionable. This has been a great purchase. I have recommended this to others who have seen and asked about the camera covers on my laptop.

good product. nice and tiny. adhesive is very weak so works well on laptops but falls off phones due to activity ie in out of pockets and then its basically useless as stickiness is totally gone. Laptops work great.

I have both a mid 2014 MBP and a mid 2017 MBP and these work great on both. They don't do much but what they do they do exactly as you would expect them to. Both laptops are able to close their lids without any issues (some other reviews mentioned this as an issue with non-MacBook Pro laptops).

I have a Lenovo Carbon X1. It is very thin and light. I was afraid that these would either be too big to fit on the edge where the camera is, or that they would block the cover. However, they don't interfere with my computer at all. They are the perfect size.

They were easy to attach to my laptop. I want able to get it exactly where I would have preferred,but it is close enough. It has been on for about a year, and still no issues. I have had friends see it, and love it as it's a better option than using a piece of tap.

I returned these because the slider was very rough but still had too much play within the slider frame. I was also concerned that I was pushing down so hard that I would damage my camera lens.

These are definitely helpful and well made. I would have given 6 stars but for the fact that it's a LITTLE large for the space on my phone. in other words, in order for it to cover my camera lens, it also covers the part of my screen that tells what percentage the battery is charged and how many bars I have.For reference, I have a Samsung S8+.

These camera sliders are perfect! They are thin enough to not impact the closing of a computer. It's easy to move the circle to go from showing your camera to not. Definitely worth the price!Works way better than a sticky note and looks more professional!

Based on the photos, I was expecting something bigger and bulkier, but these are quite small and non-invasive. Very functional and they look like a part of my computer as opposed to something junky added on. Great value.

I keep this little door over my laptop cam, it slides back and forth to open or close. I do a lot of group calls on my laptop so I feel secure knowing I can "show up" to a meeting with my hair in a ponytail and no lipstick. It does not affect the closure of my laptop or hinder anything - it's very slim and tiny.

Not good. The adhesive is pointless. It will not stick, it slips and slides each time it was slid over. The directions were followed exactly. Also, of note, the moving piece is a small magnet, meaning that it can pop off and get lost. The only reason it’s getting 2 stars as opposed to 1 is because I’m able to put superglue on the back to make it stick and the magnet is good enough. Great idea, horrible execution.

Effective while its on. The adhesive is very strong and the cover will not come off, but due to the fact that it is a magnet the slider cover will come off on anything it can stick to. I put mine on my phone and it'd have to find it every now and then in my purse, or stuck to my keys, but I'm sure it will do much better on a laptop since those typically are closed and when not in use, and probably don't come into much contact with other metals.

Did the trick on windows and mac notebooks. Outer ring has super small but effective adhesive that wipes clean if needed. Inner oval is magnetic and holds tight to ring, allows you to slide from side to side. Works on iPhone also unless you use a Mophie cover which disallows you to slide the phone in and out of their holder. Small item, small price, good results.

It's very slim. A little difficult to open/close because there's no nub. It just barely fits over my macbook camera without covering the green activity light next to it. So far the adhesive is great (my previous cover kept sliding down the screen). Just a little pricey for what it is. I bought this product and received it in the mail promptly, but only one of them stuck to my laptop! I tried to install the first one and it would not stick to my laptop and is essentially useless. The second one sticks, it slightly moves around but not nearly as bad as the first one. So I had this for about a week and a half before I had my first issue I covered the back part of my camera on my phone and it was all good fit perfectly snug a few days. When I received this camera covering, I was disappointed to find that one of the two was shattered. The other works perfectly fine and is exactly what I was looking for which is why its getting more than one star.

They were a little fiddly to get lined up, but I've had them on both my laptops for awhile and they're holding up great. I was worried about the magnetic slider part falling off, but they've stuck around. The slider piece does pop off, so you can flip it logo-side down for a plain black cover.

This fit on my macbook pro easily. Install was easy (and I can never line things up properly, ugh!). It's very thin so the laptop lid can still close. It's exactly what I was looking for.
