This case /battery has a dual purpose in protecting my phone and also providing an extra energy when you need it. With one push of a button located in the back of the case I can start charging my phone.It’s really nice because I use a lot of biking/hiking apps on my phone and this case prevents it from running out of battery.It also has a nice protective cover which protects it from any cracks or scratches. It is a little bit heavy but also has double battery life.

UPDATED: the company made sure to contact me directly and offer a product replacement. The new case seems to be working fine with my headphones! I definitely appreciate their customer service!My apple headphones do not connect when plugged in to the bottom of this case. The input is very flimsy and causes it to disconnect frequently. The battery works fine but there is a definite flaw in the construction of this product. I would look elsewhere.

Well, another battery case that did not hold up. It looks great, nice non slip finish. As far as the case itself, its pretty durable. But know I plug it in, it takes a charge. Then when I push the button on the case to charge my phone it starts charging for a second but then stops. Then i push the button again and all 4 lights on the back of charger flash and I get no charge. Frustrating.

The construction is nice and durable. The rubber overlay is comfortable in the hand. However, the charging port is a faulty workaround. Within the first 2 weeks I the prongs for my Apple cord weren’t making contact and I let it slide. Now I’m 3 months out and it’s not charging. Spend a little more (or less! I’ve been looking around for a battery case for a little while now and I stumbled across this one. I like how easy it is to put your phone in and take it out if needed. It’s comes out of the box with some juice in it. I have only charged this battery case 1 time in 3 days and it has kept me charged up. First one that I ordered didn’t work and wouldn’t hold a charge out of the box. Return and exchange went well. A little more than 2 months later, now case won’t hold charge again. Very disappointing.***updating this review. When I posted the review, I was contacted by the seller. Really good communication and they offered to replace the defective case for the 3rd time. Case arrived to my house and works as intended so far (12 hours). We'll see how long it goes this time.***

I spend lots of time traveling for work and taking pictures, writing notes, etc. This case has saved me from having to be tethered to a wall, or having to carry a portable battery that hangs like an appendage. It's still fairly slim and can recharge my phone to nearly 100%. I also love that it uses the same charger as my iPhone and doesn't require a separate USB 2.0 Rapid Charger like many other cases. Highly recommend.

Initially, I liked this case very much. However, after 6.5 months the connection for the charging cable went bad and I can no longer charge the case reliably (it sometimes works if I move the charger plug to a certain position, but that doesn’t last). I have to remove my iphone and charge it separately. First battery iphone pack that I have had with this problem. Have had this case for close to a year. Worked fine for a while then the charge port stopped functioning. I can’t use the phone in its case for connecting to other devices. For example: I used to charge my phone in the case by connecting it in my car. As long as the case is on I can’t charge my phone, it just stopped working. The case does still work to charge my phone. Really just a durability issue. Would probably not recommend.

You CANNOT listen to music and charge your phone at the same time with this case . That is the ONLY reason I got them . Smh very disappointed overall . 2/5

This iphone case charger has a very good fit with the iphone. I noticed it charges from below 20% within 2 to 3 hours which is reasonable. I can charge my phone twice before having to recharge the battery case. Overall im satisfied.

Battery size is 4800mAh, so thats good for at least one chargeInput is 5V 1.5A, but output is 5V 1A, so really slow charging, essentially trickle charging. So one should start charging early in anticipation of heavy usage.Charging the phone case uses a lightning, which is as expected.Like all battery cases, it's on the heavy side, but that's a trade off of carrying a separate battery bank or having it integrated.

I liked it at first for our trip to Disney. It takes a while to charge completely. Now 2 months after I bought it, it stopped working. I don’t even use it every day.

I’ll start by saying it’s not a horrible battery case. I find it too big and too heavy. The top bends back and you slide your phone in until it connects to the bottom. I haven't had an issue yet but I can imagine that little lightning connector snapping off pretty easily, so install and remove your phone with care.

Let’s just say if you go all day without changing your phone so you press the button to charge it, the FAT CASE will charge your phone to 100 or almost 100 but once you use all the the juice from your phone you can’t use the FAT CASE again to get more juice you would actual have to charge it through the wall plug.
