I gave five stars because the product is good. Unfortunately when I put them on the clips they became too thick to fit in my car.

They will protect my car paint when I use my bike rack just make sure you secure your hooks as unfortunately I have lost 2 of these due to poor quality bike racks. Good buy.

It's functional and of high quality. It is non-slip and protects the car paint as described. The pads are bigger than I like, but too big is better than too small. On my car (Honda Clarity) the spacers are too thick to just slide under the edge of the trunk lid (bottom) with hooks. I had to put it with an open trunk. The rest of the product is of good quality.

This is a must if you have a metal hook bike carrier. Pressing a metal hook against the car will erase the paint 100% but not with these fairings! Not only did they provide a layer of protection, but they also made my bike rack more secure. These pads do not slip. Just be sure to clean your car's area of dirt/dust before placing them to ensure firm contact.

I wouldn't use my bike rack without this product. Without these silicone protectors, my car would have been badly scratched. When I first got them I tested them on the side of the car and they stuck to the car like a magnet. Pretty cool. That's why I knew they would hold the brackets in place so well.
