Protex PawZ MaxWax: All Natural Paw Balm and Soother for Dogs Review

Recently my dog bit his paws and I put a small amount on his paws at night. So far that has helped. We had a very dry and very bad pollen season in New Jersey this year and it was irritating his paws. I also use Paw Sanitizer when we come back from a walk. Both products are very good.

Last year after a few days at the beach, my labrador's paws were so swollen that he couldn't walk. He hates boots so we decided to try Pawz MaxWax after being recommended by a close friend. This was one of the best purchases for our furry little one. I applied a lot, especially before a walk on very hot sand (sometimes you can't avoid it even if you try).

Great item! Use this for my golden retriever in the snow. This prevents giant ice balls from forming in his paws and smooths out his rough paw pads. This product is comparable to the Mushers wax I have used in the past. I really like that everything is natural, no chemicals. I apply a little with my fingers and it absorbs quickly. I highly recommend this product.

Great product for my Australian Shepherd son. His paws used to wear out and get damaged from excessive walking/playing in the summer. This paw wax was amazing and helped his ulcers heal quickly. After some much-needed rest and daily doses of pawwax, he's feeling a lot better! Oh, and putting some extra on my nose to keep it moist - worked great!

I bought this to protect my dog's paws on hot summer days. We go as far as possible with them on the grass, but we can't completely avoid hot asphalt. It helped her paw pads. It helps with cracking and dryness and provides a good barrier. My dogs don't like it when I put them on either, but they don't fight back and lick their paws afterwards. They also seem a lot more comfortable after walking.

The best and safest product on the market to keep my dog's paws soft and supple. This helps a lot in the cold North Dakota winter. This prevents snow from sticking to his paws and creates a barrier between his pads and any rock salt that may be on the pavement. I also used it on his calloused elbow to soften it. Safe for pets and safe for humans. So if they lick their paws, it's normal for their digestive system.

This is the first paw wax I've ever used so can't compare to anything else. It actually smells pretty good, like what I would use for hands (nice for hands too!), my dog doesn't lick it off, he doesn't start lifting his paws that early when we're outside. extremely cold weather (although not completely prevented) and it doesn't seem to be abating anytime soon. Hopefully over time he learns to accept his shoes, but until then putting his feet on is better than nothing.
