Bad QC with reasonable DB pickup.

I bought two of these, one was in perfect condition the other had a broken n-connector. Since one was good and the other wasn't, I'm giving it three stars.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Protection

Piece of junk good for networking products

I had to wait for the build to get to the point where we could install it, my mobile device with a small antenna was catching LTE most of the time, THIS $120 piece of scrap zero signal on! The return time has expired and I am stuck with a piece of fiberglass rod. Top the reviews, it's useless

Pros
  • Positive only
Cons
  • Weak set

Excellent antenna, suitable for computers and accessories

I ordered this antenna because I live in a remote area and couldn't get a good signal strength. This antenna worked very well, I went from -84dB to -71dB. Now I have a reliable connection. Installation was straightforward and easy. I would recommend this product to everyone.

Good, powerful antennas for mobile use

Good, powerful antennas for mobile use. My company uses them on their ships - we mount a bank of 8 of these at maximum height (usually around 40ft) and connect them to a Peplink HD4 to provide internet connectivity to the crew via 4 cellular modems (8 sims, active and failover). We have servers and other onboard systems as well as business email, people using Project use Dropbox etc and we use a combination of (slow) satellite and cellular to provide access. Cellular is faster and therefore…

  • Good product for the price

Impeccable build quality

I have experience with three of these antennas. One has been working perfectly for two years, the other fell apart in the hands of a colleague and the third has deteriorated significantly in the first two months of use. The build quality obviously leaves a lot to be desired so you might get a good one, but you'll end up with more of a lemon. I will not buy these again.

  • Pleasant to use

4G in the backcountry

I'm very lucky with this antenna. I use it on a retractable 22ft flagpole attached to my RV that works with a Verizon Jetpack MiFi. I can often get a solid 4G data signal when others have little or no signal to send text messages. I put one star simply because it seems terribly expensive for what it is. I can say I've tried a much cheaper 8dB magnetic base antenna which can be found at Revain and in a place where we camp often they both give a 2 bar 4G signal, Proxicast was running at around 5…

  • Looks good
Cons
  • Expensive insurance
