Review on πŸ“Ά Proxicast High-Gain Outdoor Fiberglass Antenna - Omni-Directional Permanent Mount - Boosts 3G/4G LTE Signal for Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, USCellular, WiFi, and 900 MHz by Amy Cook

4G in the backcountry

I'm very lucky with this antenna. I use it on a retractable 22ft flagpole attached to my RV that works with a Verizon Jetpack MiFi. I can often get a solid 4G data signal when others have little or no signal to send text messages. I put one star simply because it seems terribly expensive for what it is. I can say I've tried a much cheaper 8dB magnetic base antenna which can be found at Revain and in a place where we camp often they both give a 2 bar 4G signal, Proxicast was running at around 5 Mbps of 1.5. Not bad. I think sometimes you get what you pay for. Edit: To save next time researching which cable to buy I used the following two articles with an antenna to connect to a Verizon JetpackVerizon MiFi Jetpack Novatel 6620L 4G LTE Mobile.
