Don't listen to reviews that this product is counterfeit. They're probably looking at the wrong list. There are several power adapters listed as "Sony PSP AC Adapter by Generic" but the fact that this one says "by Sony Computer Entertainment" means it's a real bargain. I am a frugal person. I usually buy something when I think it's value for money, so I'm concerned about this product. With a 56% discount (I bought it for $13.16), I was worried it might not be an "official SONY item". Especially since the product image was very different from the adapter/charger that came with my System 3000. However, when the product arrived I thought it was the best.
