Installed this ignition cylinder based on a great YouTube video in the afternoon. The only problem is that now I have to take two keys with me instead of one. The ignition works well and I saved about $350 by doing the work myself.

Purchased from PT Auto Warehouse ILC-214L - Ignition Cylinder with keys to replace the original ignition cylinder on my 1997 Chevy K1500. Following the youtube video my wife actually disassembled the steering column and installed a new cylinder, it went in and works great.
