The problem is I've been looking for an "all weather" blanket. I wake up in the middle of the night, It is very hot I live in a cooler location parts of northern California temps hover in the 70's to 50's colder in winter judging by the description this should have worked for me at least I have a good comforter for winter the fabric is a bit stiff overall for the price not bad.

DO NOT BUY! In the first few months, the down and feathers are fine, staying in the duvet and spreading evenly along the seam. But after I had it professionally cleaned according to the cleaning instructions, you could consistently find down and feathers sticking out all over the bed and puncturing the duvet cover. The box's seams didn't hold, causing the down and feathers to be unevenly distributed and now lumpy and uneven, leaving one person warm and another cold, or parts of the person hot…

We've had this blanket for about 6 weeks but have only used it 3 as I bought it before we moved. We just changed the duvet cover for the first time and the cover is FULL of fluff. It spills everywhere. The carpet is covered, the sheets are covered. Of course it's too late to return it now. At this rate of down loss, there will be nothing left in the duvet after a few months and every time we change the cover I will spend hours vacuuming all the down to keep it from clogging the washing machine.

So beautiful! I love it. The only reason it doesn't get five stars is that it's heavier than I expected based on the description. My husband is essentially a human heat reactor and I was hoping we could have nice beds AND still cuddle. Not so. Well, at least not in terms of hugs. We sleep under the sheets, with the AC on 68 and comfy or folded at the foot of the bed.
