The picture shown shows it is charcoal fitted like the one supplied with the car, this one has NO charcoal. The picture is very deceptive. I would not recommend that.

Unfortunately I had the same experience as many other reviewers. I received a lower quality filter that does NOT contain activated carbon. Back to Revan.

This filter does not have hard plastic edges like some other filters. Filters with hard plastic edges make installation difficult. This filter was easy to install as I was able to fold it up when inserting it into the case. Fits perfectly.

Most people don't even know they have it in their car. Installing this filter on my Volvo S-80 took about 20 minutes. It fits perfectly and matches the Volvo factory filter that I replaced. Note my photo which shows a genuine Volvo charcoal filter on the left and this cheap one on the right. The Volvo One is of much better quality and also more flexible, which is necessary for its installation in the limited space where it is installed. This is a total misrepresentation and what you are getting is a very low quality filter.

The filter itself is ok I think but not what the product description says. The text description and the filter picture show the activated carbon filter; However, it is just an ordinary white paper filter. You can see the correct item in the picture of the item box itself. Purolator gets 5 stars, Volvo gets one. This filter can save you $5-$25 compared to Mann and OEM Volvo filters because both Purolator and OEM are made by Mann! The filtration quality is good, but the most important feature here is the FLEXIBILITY of the filter. Why do you ask?
