I bought them in 2012 and they still work great. Best hocks I've ever had on a truck. The only thing I did was replace the piece of rubber with a block of metal to hold it in place.

The worst thing about this product is that you had to hammer a bit to get into the hole. Another bad thing is that the square tie is so big that you need a large bail on each hook you use to secure it. Best of all, it looks good and works well. I bought two and will buy two more

This is my third attempt at getting ties I could live with. My last 2 sets were fine until they started rusting. To avoid this, they are covered with special stainless steel. They went in easily, were very durable, looked good and worked well. The pop-up and lock feature won me over. You are legal! And for the money I would expect them to be. Avoid cheap plastic/metal ties and only buy these. I wish I had spent all that money on 2 cheaper sets of ties in the last 2 years.

I read a few reviews that got me alarmed. They stated that they are difficult to install, do not fit, etc. I have not found such a problem. The instructions could have been better, but I found a video online on how to do this. They are equipped with different sized rubber blocks to keep the device in place. I like the look and feel of these ties. However, the installation method is not positive. The system works by tightening two screws, each passing through a large rubber block. The tightening action causes the rubber block to bend and flex, putting pressure on the mailbox that should hold it in place. The process does not pull the device down to the surface of the truck, so there is some clearance underneath. Once installed, any lateral or upward pressure can cause the hold downs to fail…

so they fit my 2013 Silverado 3500HD. They fit in all 6 holes. But they needed a little "grease" with some rubber strips on the inner tube to make them a good fit. It doesn't quite match the lines of the truck body. The metal parts are well made and fit well. (it gets 3 stars for the set) I really like how they look finishing the top of the bed. Prevent "garbage” from getting into the stake pockets. Provide a pretty decent anchor point for almost anything. (Looks like it's going to get 5 stars)
