Accurate and reliable

I couldn't afford a Fluke, but this is the best. The only downside is that you have to press the test leads very hard to make good contact.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Minor issues

No duty cycle in tools and equipment

no duty cycle function. Otherwise it's a good gauge. The duty cycle was stated on the packaging and in the product description. I called the company and they said it was a mistake. I would recommend this counter to anyone who doesn't need a duty cycle function.

Pros
  • beautiful thing
Cons
  • appearance

I do not recommend this product

I do not recommend this product. There have been problems with this multimeter since the day of purchase. Returned under warranty. However, the warranty department wanted me to pay for the meter to be repaired after I had already paid for the return shipping. Eventually, the company kept the meter and offered to refund the money. I do not recommend any Pyle product.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Lots of items

Not worth the money.

As long as the meter works satisfactorily. After just a few months of light use, the resistance meter failed. Now it shows 1.7 kΩ with open pins. It shows zero ohms with the wires shorted. I read mixed reviews before purchasing but the price is right. bad call Multimeters are one of those things that you just have to pay a little more for to get something reliable. I replaced it with a Greenlee meter and am much happier. Go for a higher quality gauge like Greenlee or Fluke and skip the Pyle…

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model

Works perfectly after repair.

I have a Mastech MS8221 Auto/Manual Range DMM and it was a lot less bulky than this 2 inch multimeter. However, the size wouldn't bother me if the screen actually worked correctly, but the LCD segments flicker on and off randomly, making it almost impossible to read the values. When the frequency mode is set, the entire lower half of the display goes out. (see customer photos) I tried a new battery to make sure it wasn't a power issue, but that didn't help. I think mine is bad but maybe it…

Pros
  • Lasting Test Results
Cons
  • So far so good
