Great replacement for my worn out Bose 301. To be honest they hit harder and softer than the originals. Easy to install, no template required. Make sure you have the spatula(s) to join/or solder. I will definitely buy again!

These speakers are okay in a pinch, but if you're looking to replace the subwoofer in a good pair of home speakers, look elsewhere. I'm not entirely sure about all the positive reviews I read before purchasing these speakers, but I was disappointed. I noticed a big drop in sound quality in my speakers.

I had no problems with delivery and receipt of these speakers, communication was excellent and they arrived a day earlier than promised. They were easy to install, although the wire connections required some soldering to make them secure. They replaced some 35 year old Bose woofers so they were in a great position but when I first plugged in and ran the system it was great! No top-to-bottom distortion! I bought this to replace a cheap driver that Sony put in their 8" powered subwoofer. Firstly, the Pyramid claims *nowhere *that this is a subwoofer It's only on Revain The Sony case sounds great on unmodified bass (like The Who's Live at Leeds) but once you play something with a synth base (try the Low Flo Ridr and a couple Bass Mechanix), the diaphragm rumbles like an old Chevy.
