Ideal for removing debris from my pond. The material is strong and doesn't tear as easily as my previous one. It also throws out the trash fairly easily when I flip and shake it to turn the mesh inside out. Then just flip the net over and shake it a little to move the net back. Who would have thought quality mattered in an item that only cost a few dollars!

This is the perfect small size to carry in my pool bag. I have saved 3 bees with it so far. You're stuck in the pool and I feel like my fishing net has already paid for itself. I also use it to remove leaves, flowers and other small debris from the pool. This thing is tiny and I wouldn't recommend it for actually cleaning the pool, more something to do leisurely while having fun in the sun.

I don't have a fish tank but needed a small net to catch and drown Japanese bugs. These insects fall to the ground when disturbed so I put a net under them and when they fall into the net I drop them into a pot of soapy water. These bugs were nibbling on my basil that I didn't want to spray, so the mesh plus soapy water worked really well.

This fishing net fits us very well. The net is made of high quality mesh, the metal handle is covered with vinyl, and the overall quality is excellent. With this net we can easily remove chickens and tetras. The mesh head is 4 inches and the handle length is about 13 inches. Works great as it should. I use it to remove grass from the kids pool when it doesn't need cleaning. My husband picked up my old one from the pet store. This one has extra plastic on the handle so it doesn't get as hot in the sun. It's also a bit wider and the mesh is deeper than the previous one. This is a good size if you are using it for fish. I like blue too. The pet store only had red ones and smaller ones. This saved me a trip to the store!

The first time I used it I caught a goldfish and wanted to toss it in another container of water. So I flipped the net upside down over the second container and the fish was hanging from the net and holding on to a fin! Bought this for my son who has a betta in a 2.5 gallon tank because during water changes he throws things out of the Basin must take and cleaning. The net is soft enough to safely catch dwarf fish but strong enough to lift other items. This net is tried and tested and works well, but be aware that this is not a very long fishing net.
