Bought this for my son who has a betta in a 2.5 gallon tank because during water changes he throws things out of the Basin must take and cleaning. The net is soft enough to safely catch dwarf fish but strong enough to lift other items. This net is tried and tested and works well, but be aware that this is not a very long fishing net. So if you have a deep tank it may not be suitable. Conclusion: 5 out of 5 stars. I recommend this fishing net for a 2.5 gallon or smaller aquarium as you can't beat the price. **TIP** The net is 13 inches long from end to end, but the handle is about 3 inches long, so the total is closer to 10 inches.
