I like it with reservations

glass a little thinner than expected. Requires slightly more careful handling. However, it works well in the oven and in the dishwasher. I love the red storage lid. Just let it cool before pouring water into a hot bowl or you'll end up with broken glass all over the place.

Pros
  • beautiful thing
Cons
  • crumpled

Good old stock!

This Pyrex replaces another that is almost exactly like ours. It crashed due to a sudden temperature change. damned! So I got these. This is a classic kitchen utensil and everyone should have a good Pyrex cookware with a lid. Just remember not to take it out of a hot oven and place it on a cold countertop!

Pros
  • Positive only
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Defective product? good for bakers

Purchased this item on 05/29/2021. Maybe used twice. I used it today and saw that it crashed. It was in a cupboard in another pan. Nobody touched him, he apparently fell himself. I am very disappointed with this product. I would like to know if it can be replaced as it must have been defective in the first place.

  • Feel good

No shelf life on bakeware

I rinsed it in warm (not even hot) water before use and during the wash the slightest touch of the kitchen sink caused all the dishes to fall apart in my hands. It's very dangerous. People have been using glassware for centuries, but in 2019, the most famous and trusted brand name product breaks at the slightest touch? Now I have a sink full of glass and a severed arm.

Pros
  • Glitter
Cons
  • Useless features

Great dish! Terrible shell!

So I really liked this bowl, the size and depth was perfect for what I needed it for and of course it can be used endlessly in the kitchen. But, my god, the lid on this dish is unforgivable! I can't tell you how many times I almost dropped this thing just to open it. And yes, I raised the corner with the shield. lol! It's just really tough. For me, as for someone who is not strong in their hands, this is a big problem.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Frequency

Same Pyrex but thinner glass

I was devastated when my 20 year old Pyrex record broke from my mum. I happened upon Revain and bought it which was exactly the same size. Wow this is great and exactly what I've come to expect from Pyrex. I noticed that the thickness of the glass is much thinner than older versions. It just seems to me that the old stuff is way better. Either way, this pyrex jar works great and the lid fits perfectly. I've already made banana bread in a skillet and it works great.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Annoying

High-quality glass casserole dish 8x8!

I bought this Pyrex 8x8 for all the goodies I love to bake. I must have left my previous skillet to my daughters, I knew I would never see them again so I ordered the exact same one as I had! It's perfect for me, love that I can bake brownies and really appreciate the included lid so my treats don't dry out. I can just leave them covered on the counter and everyone has easy access to a treat. The only negative is that I usually eat them all.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • So So

Pot OK, Lid No.

The lid is made of a rigid, inflexible material that makes the pot difficult to remove. It was an arm wrestle every time, and I even managed to hurt a finger when one of the heavy angles leaned against me instead of letting go. That thing is a baking trap. I don't like the design either. What I thought would be just a slightly raised ridge is actually a 1/2" domed top. It takes up extra fridge space as well as storage. If your brownies don't need a domed top or if you have hand or strength…

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • Safety
