Pyrex is a GREAT glass item BUT. I wish you could buy individual lid covers from a store like Wal-Mart - these lids are expensive for one or two! We've found that lids last MUCH longer if hand washed - DO NOT put them in the dishwasher which will destroy the plastic and crack the walls!

This was the custom size I needed for my Pyrex. My husband has a VERY BAD habit of eating in a sunny room and leaving lids on the table. My beagles find the lids and chew on them. Then my husband knows I'm going to be upset, so he throws them away and pretends he has no idea what happened to them. So.
