This is not everything I was hoping for. Too bad this was a Christmas present for my teenager. The power cord doesn't stay in the outlet, the battery cover didn't fit in the box, the sound quality is abysmal, very cheaply made.

I just got the qfx j-220bt. What I don't like about it is that when you turn it on it sounds like a radio instead of a boombox stereo. I put it on FM to hear how it sounds. i have stereo No, it sounded like AM radio. When I first saw it I was hooked because it looked like the one I had in the 80's and I turned it on everywhere. But QFX. boom box. It didn't turn out the way I thought! I'm disappointed. But I love shopping at Revain.

I bought it for its versatility and looks. BT works well with it (up to about 10 feet) and the radio works well. However I have dozens of cassettes and shortly after playing a few the door wouldn't open, finally I opened it again but a small piece of metal fell out and got into the radio and now the cassette player doesn't work. I'm impressed with the bass, very disappointed with the cassette.

Great little radio! Is the sound quality the same as a $200 competitor? no But don't get me wrong, the radio still sounds good and can play different genres at high volumes, better than I expected. This radio is perfect for a picnic, a trip to the cinema, small barbecues and is definitely an eye-catcher. People love the retro style with the convenience of Bluetooth connectivity.
