This is a good value for many applications. This may not be practical in harsh, industrial, or high-performance environments.

Poor quality components. Plastic sleeves fall off immediately. The metal on the connectors looks like a cheap metal pan. Do not use them for high current components. Glue the plastic bushings.

The plugs are too long for sockets. Not as shown in the picture. Works but looks unprofessional. Also keep in mind that 2.5mm is rarely used. You probably want 2.1mm.

This plug and socket kit worked well and was easy to solder and assemble. The price was reasonable even though I only needed one set and had to buy 10. Otherwise no complaints!

Works. Used one to fix my Schwinn recumbent. Seems to be as good as the original. For the price and 9 extras in the bag, the product gets 5 stars. Picture and description are correct. They work. Not melted.

Have a lighting circuit powered by 3 AA batteries for a set of LED bulbs in a flower arrangement. So I drilled a hole in the plastic box for the battery, installed the socket and soldered the connecting wire to the existing wires in the box, and then soldered the connector to the low voltage power supply. In the process I had to bend the petals to solder for a gap and they didn't snap off. Generally very satisfied, you can turn on the light without worrying about the batteries.

It's pretty decent, I just don't like the aesthetics, the plug is a bit longer than the socket, I ended up with a 1/8 inch plug. I used heat shrink tubing on the male end for the replacement, but it would look much more professional if the male end was just flush with the female end when you plugged it in. tender on the male end and doesn't take a lot of abuse. but in general. It's not bad, I'm relatively happy with the price.

If you only use this and only work with this brand then great. If you use it with other components (I bought it to make connection cables for the battery and TS100 soldering iron) you may find that the pin end doesn't make a secure connection due to its short length. The only issue I have is more due to the subtle product information on the website and partly my own ignorance of the product. I intended to use these connectors with an existing connector.
