Solid pole, about 8 inches long. Fits the bar perfectly. I believe the screws were 3/4. Almost went with 5/8. All necessary equipment is included.

The black metal bracket that holds the weight of the bag breaks. It's only a matter of time before it needs to be replaced. Dissatisfied.

I first hung the bag on a simple eye hook; But this setup, combined with the spring, is more reliable and reduces pocket impact.

Festival. I've been using them for a while. The sealing ring stretched, but a reinforced carabiner stood in its place. 100 pound bag. The hole shows signs of wear as it is used 3-4 times a week for heavy and double bags and with a weightlifting reel. The thing is solid. Highly recommended.

So I have a heavy Everlet punching bag and wanted to mount it so I bought this hanger. The welds and materials used on this hanger were fantastic. But when the hanger was only hanging for 3 days, the bolts holding it broke and the hanger and bag fell off. The ceiling I attached it to now has four holes left until I attach it.

Straight out of the box the item seemed too light! It feels almost like aluminum. Again, I haven't installed it, used it, or abused it, so I can't talk to that part of it either, but part of me just can't trust it! Maybe I'm overreacting and the article might be ok, but the fact that the 'iron' they claim just feels too light and not heavy enough for me. That's my reason for only 3 stars

At first I thought the bracket wasn't thick or strong enough to support the weight of a 250 lb bag, but it's fine in my living room. I don't leave the bag installed as I have it in my living room but when I'm kickboxing the bag bounces and wobbles a lot and the brace holds up well. I just wish the bracket was longer to mount it over the joists to avoid stressing the joist of my apartment. That's the only reason I give this product 4 stars.
