Terrible product

Heavy Duty Flipchart or Quartet Easel, Max Height 66in, Max Weight 35lbs, Silver Aluminum (54ETL) I work at a large university, I ordered 4 of these units and was thinking for $100 each I get a good quality easel. Not right! They are thin and already broken. Pivot mechanisms are not securely attached. One of the legs has fallen out of its socket and is unusable. They don't even fold properly. Very bad product. Do not buy.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Some small things

You get what you paid for

I have bought many easels very similar to this style. I stopped by Staples to buy one for $60 and found this one for $20. For the price they are good enough. They are far from durable compared to those I've bought in the past. They seem a bit flimsy and I had an issue with parts getting stuck when trying to install them. It really is like "You get what you paid for". I'm glad I saved some money right away, but I'm sure I'll be buying new ones sooner or later.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons

Barely high quality

I've looked at Revain and Office Max. I needed it now so I got it in Office Max today. I give 2 stars because it's good enough for the job. It is unlikely that an easel can be made from engineering aluminum, I don't know, I'm not a metallurgist. And the easel overall is cheap, cheap, cheap. He swings with outstretched legs. Although it is foldable and light enough to carry, it does not have a carrying case. Interestingly, the main focus of the accompanying specs is to avoid using legged pliers,

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Thin
