Quartz Clock Movement Kit: This clock mechanism is perfect with its clock parts for repairing, replacing, or making your own DIY clock project. The clock movement design keeps foreign matter out of the gears, resulting in years of trouble-free operation. Clock Movement Measurements: Total hand shaft length is 28.6 mm (1 1/8 inch). Total shaft diameter is 7.9 mm (5/16 inch). Maximum Clock Dial Thickness: 17.5 mm (11/16 inch). Refers to the thickness of the combined material (clock face material and support board the dial is mounted to) that the threaded length of the movement shaft travels through. The hardware adds 1.6 mm (1/16 inch) making the total length of the threaded bushing 19.1 mm (3/4 inch). For finding a replacement, measure the threaded portion of the shaft on the old clock movement. If length is shorter or equal to 19.1 mm (3/4 inch), this is suitable. Clock Hands Measurements: Total black spade hour and minute hand length is approx. 63.5 mm (2 1/2 inch), total red second hand length is approx. 69.9 mm (2 3/4 inch).
