🍶 1.5 Quart Decorative Copper Water Pitcher with Ice Guard Review

Goes well with my other copper accessories in the kitchen. The perfect accent for a counter and a beautiful water pitcher.

Tried this for the first time today, cleaned first and held the handle while drying, the handle broke off in both hands. I was shocked because I pressed very little on it.

I was a bit nervous when I bought this as other reviews said the size was wrong? For reference, I received a 24-ounce jug. I have attached a photo of the jars, the smallest size is 13 ounces. I'm a copper/brass walnut and love the look of this pitcher!

I ordered this to decorate bookshelves and also to water plants. Good quality and very cute! However. Their many better pitchers are available for a lot less. I already regret having spent the money on it when I have found cheaper alternatives in the meantime. If you're into copper, this is a great choice!

If you're expecting a jug, think again. A more appropriate description of this item would be to call it a milk jug. I am assuming that 24 ounces is an indication of the weight of the copper, not how many ounces the "jar" holds. I'm very disappointed as it was supposed to be a Christmas present.

The spot welds where the handle attached to the container leaked immediately and I never got a chance to use it, in my opinion it's a terrible idea Holes drill into a liquid container. I believe it would be possible to solder the weld points and fix the leak if they had access to the torch.

I needed a small jug with no lid. I liked it the day I received it, the handle was comfortable to the touch. Update: It stained black the next day after filling it with water for the first time, I even used a proper copper cleaner (also the vinegar and salt I use on my copper mugs) and the stains won't go away. Now I don't know if I want to drink that water from it.

If you want to serve water to 7 friends, you've got it. it is not a jug. However, I have a matching set of Moscow Mule mugs from ODI and when I want to serve drinks in batches of 3 or 4 they are perfect. I could use it to replenish my water supplies when I have a one on one meal. Stainless steel interior and copper exterior for easy cleaning (hand wash). The ice catcher is larger than it appears on the pitcher, so fill your goggles with ice first.
