I think you get what you pay for. They're good for the money, but I think in rough terrain you'll lose everything that's ever been installed on them and your steed. They fit well but not as tight as I thought. And definitely one is better than the other since I bought 2. I would say if you use them as anchor points in your bed you will be fine. But for whips I would go with a rigid mount on the frame next time.

In addition to the beautiful anchor, we spent more money on a larger diameter pole and flag. But the anchor thumbscrew could not be properly tightened on our Polaris. We lost our whole flag on a big sand dune two miles away. We returned, searched but found nothing. Had to leave the Little Dunes of the Sahara without the obligatory whip flag. Paid download area. An incorrectly installed anchor would not hold. Don't buy this.

This may be a great product but you need to change it to make it work properly. Once installed, they tighten easily, but the nut on the bottom will start to stretch the rubber. As it stretches, it weakens and won't hold up. I'm going to make a washer out of wood to keep the nut from turning. **UPDATE** I put a metal washer between the plug and lock washer and now it works great. They were installed within a few weeks and are still very strong. If anyone from this company reads these reviews…
