Quiksilver Carver Nubuck Sandal for Kids (Toddler/Little/Big) Review

Very small. My son cannot put his foot in a shoe at all. Although his feet are a bit wide, that hasn't been an issue with any other shoe.

After my 8 year old son continued to wear cheap rubber flip flops, I decided he needed something more durable and "cooler". The sole is thick but light, not heavy or bulky at all, just what I was looking for. The straps appear to be very strong. He says they feel great. They look like good leather, so they look more stylish than, say, cheap old rubber nautical flip flops. Got it!

This is a great looking shoe but runs VERY small. My son wears a size 2 1/2 so I ordered him a size 3 and he couldn't fit. When I put them on his old size 2 1/2 sandals, they were about an inch shorter! I sent them back and ordered 4. Fingers crossed they fit. Update: We received 4 and they were still too small for my 2 1/2 foot son. Give them back too and surrender. Very disappointing.

Happy this product. After trying a few different species, they seem to be the best for both beach visits and walks. Great sandal!

Bought these for my grandson! He wears them all the time. When I first bought them my grandson said they were a bit heavy, I told him they could just be tight and give them time to break in. That was the problem, now they fit perfectly.

This is the second pair I've bought. Quicksilver is my favorite sandal brand and my favorite pair so far. So I bought a pair for me and my son. Now these are his favorite sandals.

I ordered these sandals for my 3 year old, I love them so much it's hard to find durable toddler sandals that can be worn with almost anything.

My 10 year old son is very picky about clothes and shoes as he is sensitive to textures. However, these flip flops are so comfortable! Even between your fingers! The sole is soft but supportive. He loves them and told me last night that he plans to wear them all the time. Excellent purchase.

Bought for grandchildren out of town for vacation. They are true to size and very comfortable. Great for the beach and casual dining too. Recommend!

After getting wet a few times exiting the pool, the flip flops started peeling off. The top layer comes off. Like a thin faux leather sofa. Comfortable flip flops but be careful. Nothing but walking in sunny weather. Now I'm looking for something "more durable" for an 8-year-old. I would not buy again.

Bought them for my son because I like the look of them. But when I put them on they were too small, ordered size 1 because he wears size 13. The size turned out to be too small.

The bottom layer is separated at the front. Keeps me tripping Lasted a few months before they did. I wouldn't buy them again.

This is the second size I've ordered in these flip flops. My son stayed in it last summer. They're comfortable and the fabric doesn't rub or hurt your toes.

My son has only had them for a month, he found them comfortable but the soles of both sandals have started to separate from the rest of the sandal.

This is a nice pair of flip flops but they are narrow. I bought the larger size hoping my son would grow into it but apparently it can only be worn for a few months.

The foot of the sandal is just the right size, but the height of the straps is too high, causing me to have to put more effort in walking to lift the entire sandal. I won't wear sandals, but they're decent.

Both soles of the flip-flops broke within a month after their 5-year-old wore them only occasionally. Tried to glue them back but to no avail. Save money and buy another brand.

They were slightly larger than the size chart. However, my son loves them and wanted to keep them if they fit him. He said they felt "soft and comfortable." They look durable and the skin is very comfortable. He probably won't wear them until next spring, but overall we like them.

EDIT TO MY ORIGINAL REVIEW: Although these sandals initially seemed to be of good quality, unfortunately, immediately after a short period of wearing (sometimes) the front of the sandal started to fall apart (as shown in the photos). Not my son. doesn't wear them every day and they're pretty basic when he wears them. Disappointed, they fell apart so quickly. Ordered these for my son and he loves them! Looks exactly like the picture and arrived in perfect condition!

They are perfect for my 9 year old son. The leather is really soft and supple and they fit perfectly right out of the box. He loves her! Excellent purchase!
