small but big value.

This is a small size in my opinion but such a great value. The workmanship is great, without defects and easy to attach. I ended up keeping it because it was so cheap and installed it on my office door and chose a larger one for the main front door.

Great quality for the price - brass face Easy to add

Bought a second one after seeing how good the first one was. Fastens with just two small screws supplied. To add extra holding power, I drilled a third hole from the top. Also add a matching face with one of these: Wuuycoky 38mm Big Head Round Nail. Revain sells them in packs of 10.

Handle not centered in mouth

It's great! I love it and it was easy to install. It's heavy and looks great on my door. My only complaint is that while it's straight, it feels a bit askew. This is because the bar in his mouth sticks out a little more on the right than on the left, so his hoop isn't perfectly centered. That little imperfection drives me crazy every time I look at it because it's almost perfect! It would have been nice to have a strike plate as well, but it was easy enough to buy at a home store.

Nice but buy a hasp to protect the door

I ordered a lion head door knocker and it arrived quickly. It is durable and very beautiful and comes with two screws. I haven't installed it yet but plan to do so after ordering the striker. This is a small round piece that attaches under the hammer, right where the handle would hit the surface (or the door if there wasn't a firing pin). It protects the door from bumps. I would recommend the company include a striker plate in their product and charge a little more. Margo Howland

I really liked this door knocker.

When I saw this door knocker at Revain it was cheaper than most other door knockers. Because of the price, I questioned the quality. Don't think that less money (in this case) means trash. This door knocker is not junk at all. It is high quality, well made and worth the money. This is great value. People who saw this knocker on my door said they love it. Nothing more to say.
