Great seat post for the price

Great seat post for the price. No offset, which allows the seat to be easily moved forward if needed. Easy to set up. The finish scratches a bit when you adjust the seatpost up and down or remove it hard, even when oiled. Only one small complaint though.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Upgrade available

Does the job - seats and saddles

Not much actually, it's a seatpost that works as it should. The clamp works great and looks very good. It's a little heavier, if that really matters for a sub-$30 seatpost. One thing to note, the paint peels off fairly easily where the clip meets the post, which isn't a big deal given the price, but it's something to be aware of.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Beautiful seat post. Well done as you can expect from.

Stylish seat post. Well done as you would expect from Raceface. I bought it for my hardtail, this was the last addition I needed to complete my bike's components, all of which are from Raceface. Good price for a seat post. I've been riding this aggressively for a month and have had problems. I'm 5.8 and 174 pounds, no complaints. I highly recommend this product.

Pros
  • Sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Quality

Basic workhorse saddle

I bought one of those cheap carbon posts here at Revain that came from China and it broke when the post suddenly broke on the first ride. I ended up returning it and just using the credit to buy a heavier, less shiny aluminum frame. Race Face's products get the job done and I prefer to be calm knowing my saddle won't come loose underneath me.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Not the best

Five Stars in Sports

It's been over a year and this post is still going strong. There is no sign of rust. It held my weight perfectly and didn't slip during my rides. It might be a bit heavier than some other brands but the weight doesn't bother me as I ride as a hobby and not a job. Plus, the few extra ounces it adds make my legs even stronger. It was a good replacement.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Poorly Thought

Good quality. Annoying to assemble.

It may be a seatpost but it is needlessly annoying to install. The lug nuts aren't fully tightened, so you have to hold them by turning the wrench until they're seated, and there's little to no 1/4 inch ratchet clearance to turn the front bolt, so I used a rag to turn them wrapped. Seatpost to avoid scratching the finish. I'll survive, but I thought we had a seatpost design like 20 years ago.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Fading

Good replacement for OE mail.

Bought as a last resort when I lost my original seatpost (long story) between races. It was delivered quickly and I was planning on racing this weekend. It's still on my bike, doing what the seatpost does best. The matte finish scratches easily, but that doesn't bother me. The two bolts can sometimes make contact with the saddle on hard bumps, but that's normal with this type of seatpost. It was slightly lighter than the original it replaced.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Only available in black

SSS - Solid Silent Seatpost

My Cannondale didn't like the Thomson seatpost I used. I experienced a hell of a creaking noise that wouldn't go away, irritating me with every pedal stroke. Race Face was apparently the cure! This rod is quiet, non-slip, hardly bends and is perfect for a pipe. If it were a little lighter I'd give it a 5/5 but for the price that's to be expected. The race face print isn't boring or flashy, it complements my bike well. I personally like the two screw design and found this model very easy to…

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Available in white only

Curved seatpost fits parts and components

Ordered the post in December as it was cheap and a "great" price. However, it only has 15 rides and is bent. For the record, I'm a fairly tall/tall guy, so the shock was deployed near the "minimum insertion” line (never too far), and I ride full suspension on moderate/difficult singletrack. I recommend buying a stronger stand if you ride technical trails. GOOD: - Suitable 31.6mm x 375mm frame, no slipping issues when the quick release was tight. - No problems with the order/delivery, the goods…

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Some minor things
