Very cheaply made item. Hardware fell off in the box and 2 washers were missing. Moved. Still in my den a few months later .I will never use it in my life.

You Won't Find Well-Made Hat Hangers Easily. A wooden shelf is safer, especially if you want to stack them on top of each other. I would not recommend it. However, the price corresponds to the quality.

Got it back pretty quickly. The product consists of two parts that must be connected with the supplied cable ties. There is a large space between each pole intended to hold the hats - a quick try to use it and the hats will easily fall off the pole and through the open spaces. It looks like the design is meant for each rack to fit a stack of hats, but it doesn't seem to work very well.
