Ideal for storing a heavier kayak or canoe.

Good. I was a bit skeptical about these braces until they came out. When I opened the box, all doubts were gone. They are very durable and easy to install. I store my Hobie Mirage Outfitter kayak on them (90+ pounds) and they fit perfectly.

Easy installation for kayaking

I ordered two sets to hang my kayaks in the back of the garage and they fit very easily. The best part about them is that they are wide enough to turn the kayaks upside down, ensuring rain, snow, leaves or dirt don't get into them, keeping them clean until the next time I get them. Also very durable.

Perfection! in Kayaking

These wall shelves are by far the best and most economical way to store my kayaks safely and easily! I am very happy! They were relatively easy to install and made from quality materials. I recommend that you purchase a 1/2" longer screw than the one that comes with the posts. I'm a contractor and length matters. Paddle like you stole it!

Supplied with defective plastic cover

Very easy to install. Came with a broken plastic lid. I saw that there is another review with the same problem. There is a nice metal bracket on the side of the stand, but the other part is plastic and doesn't feel solid. I would not recommend buying this product with a cheap plastic cap when it should have been metal to avoid this problem. The mount itself is well made, too bad the cover spoils it.

Exactly what we needed

They were great - maybe even better than I expected. I was worried if they would be big enough to fit in our canoe. I thought most of the reviews were for kayaks. Our canoe is very old, almost 16 feet, "Easy Rider". It's quite heavy and big. These work perfectly. Since it's an old canoe, we just store it outside. We put them on the fence (posts 4x4, distance between them is about 8 feet). Simply screw in, place the straps on your canoe. That's great. Should have bought them many years ago.

  • GOLS certified

We got the place back. - Watersports

Fits my Grumman Michicraft and Quachita aluminum canoes. Two 17' and one 18'. One of the screws broke off during assembly so I had to drill a new hole and put in the other screw I had. But they hold the weight well. Large enough for any self-propelled watercraft. I would say that the hanger itself is of excellent design and quality. The paint is good. Velcro is good. The included hardware could have been better, but it did the job. For the price you can get a place in a store, garage or at…

Fantastic frames for my canoe

They are fantastic. I wasn't sure if they would fit my 16ft Old Town Penobscot canoe but figured I could somehow adapt them so they would still work. Well they worked great out of the box! Including hardware. I placed them about 3 feet from each end of the canoe and there was enough room in the middle to lay flat. The frames feel solid and will easily hold a canoe that weighs about 56 pounds. The belts were also enough to bypass him. And the price isn't bad either. So if, like me, you think…

Near Excellent - Watersports

The stands themselves are strong, durable and easy to install. Love the straps that support and hold my kayaks on the racks and the ability to attach yaks for storage. I have a problem with the plastic clips on the ends of the posts. I bought 2 sets and kept one of my kayaks a week apart. When I was about to stow my second kayak, I noticed that the plastic pieces on the end of the rack had broken, rendering the straps unusable. I had to buy square U-bolts with faceplates to solve this problem…

Great design, very appealing.

This is a beautifully designed water sports boat carrier. I installed it about 2 weeks ago and so far so good. The only thing left to be determined for this is how it will hold up to outdoor weather/rusting. Installation was easy - I had to attach the 2x4 to a cinder block wall to install on top of the 2x4. I like being able to "buckle up" the kayaks as the location where I set them up is sometimes exposed to strong winds. If I could give myself some advice before installing it, I would put the
